.. in Prettau! Our house was constructed according to biological construction principles. It is located at 1600 metres above sea level between Prettau and Kasern. The copper mine that hosts the one and only gallery for asthmatics in Italy, for those suffering from an allergy, is not far away from our house (approx. 200 m). This gallery opened its door for the public in 2003. In view of this fact, we built our house in a way that it suits those who suffer from an allergy. 

Our house is called "Walchhaus". The name stems from the word "Walken", which denominated fulling the process of a handcraft carried out in our house the last centuries.
